Coral Cove 40 - Under Contract

This unique catamaran is so suited to these waters, being a mix between polynesian types and bridgedeck saloon catamarans. She has a great cuddy style enclosure for seating, watch bunk and the helm, sharing the vast cockpit space and yet more is afforded by the stern platform, note the mainsheet fully aft. All sail controls, including halyards, are operated from the cockpit and also note the close genoa sheeting angles offered by this design.

She was built using the W.E.S.T. ply / epoxy system and the plywood is highest quality Australian triple A marine structural ply.... 12mm 7 ply and 9mm 7 ply throughout with one layer of biaxial 325gm and one layer of 200gm woven cloth, all epoxy saturated. Epoxy paint from 'Boatcraft Pacific'. Launched just five years ago, she is in excellent condition and offered for sale at a fraction of the build cost.

The outboard engine propulsion is very well planned out, with two main stainless steel tanks, port and starboard sides of cuddy, another two plastic tanks each side in dedicated lockers. Each engine has a TINY-TACH gas tach and hourmeter. Range is 700nm. Engines and fuel filters are accessed from the pods in the cockpit.

She has been built with both hulls being independent in terms of fuel, water and electrics.
